VALIDITY AND RELIABITY STUDY OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION COURSE STUDENT VALUE ORIENTATION SCALE
The purpose of this study is to develop a scale that determines the levels of physical education course student value orientation. Survey model of the research working group is the central districts of Ankara 7 and 8 grade middle school and 9, 10, 11 and 12 grade high school students randomly selected and composed of 663 students in the academic year 2012-2013. The first form of measurement instrument was consisting of 31 items. Physical Education Course Student Value Orientation Scale of studying for the purpose of the pre-application data to provide evidence on the reliability Cronbach’s Alpha value of .919, Guttman Split-Half internal consistency coefficient of .850 and Spearman-Brown internal consistency coefficient of .851. In order to provide evidence of the item validity was made item total correlation analysis and its values were between .31 and .58. Confirmatory Factor Analysis was applied in order to provide evidence of construct validity. Results of the study are considered to Physical Education Course Student Value Orientation Scale is valid and reliable and it has been involved 28 item including six dimensions sports virtue, solidarity, self-confidence, being sensitive, responsibility and national culture.
