Survey model was used in the study and 59 fourth grade students participated in it. To collect the data, structured and free texts were used in the study. Based on mastery learning model, the criterion for achieving mastery learning was set as "80 percent of the participants should be able to get minimum 75 points out of 100". Namely, minimum 47 participants' using the punctuation marks with %75 accuracy was counted as successful.
