ÜNİVERSİTE ÖĞRENCİLERİNİN COVİD-19 SALGINI SÜRESİNCE YÜRÜTÜLEN ZORUNLU UZAKTAN EĞİTİME İLİŞKİN GÖRÜŞLERİ

The aim of this study is to determine student views on emergency distance education implemented in the Covid-19 process. A qualitative research method was used in the research. The population of the study is students of Muş Alparslan University and the study group consists of 572 volunteer students. The data collected online were analyzed using descriptive and content analysis methods. According to the results of the research, the spread of the pandemic has been prevented by starting distance education. Flexible working opportunities, more time for students to spend with their families, etc. factors are seen as positive aspects of distance education. Lessons in distance education are inefficient, uncertainty about evaluation methods, technical problems arising from internet and technology, communication problems with faculty members, lack of suitable study environment at home, etc. reasons are seen as negative aspects of distance education. It is recommended to enrich the distance education course contents with multimedia applications.
