EVALUATION ON DEVELOPMENTAL CONTEXT OF PICTURES OF FIVE YEAR GROUP OF CHILDREN
Early childhood, which includes ages 0-8, is a very important period in terms of developing and developing skills and abilities in the early years. This study was carried out with 26 children attending the preschool for the purpose of examining the pictures of the children of five years old. Firstly, the classroom teacher, who is preschool teacher, was informed about the research and stated that they should not intervene in the pictures of the children. In the research, It was asked to draw paintings with pastel colors from children and the drawings were collected and evaluated by the researcher. At the end of the study, it was found that the children used the most yellow color (N = 17, 16,34%) and the least gray color (N=1, 0,96 %). When the characteristics of children's pictures are examined, the children's paintings are mostly found in hierarchy, transparency, completion, use of vivid colors, and the presence of vertical and horizontal painting lines.It is also determined that they use the most human figures in their paintings.
