Summary
Although the development of tourism occurs in natural and cultural environments, the negative effects of these environments from excessive tourism use cause problems by putting pressure on social and environmental foundations. The fact that tourism tends to increase constantly in the world necessitates taking measures to prevent other tourism areas from encountering the same problems. Anti-tourism has been rife in the world's major tourist destinations in recent years. The concept of extreme tourism is among the most discussed topics in academia and in the media. As a result of exceeding the social carrying capacities in the destinations where tourism is concentrated, conflicts occur in the use of the areas. Intensive tourism movements cause the development of the concept of extreme tourism from the past to the present. This study focuses on Çeşme district as a whole with all its features and examines the carrying capacity, the perception and evaluation of different forms of tourism and their effects on the life of the inhabitants. The aim of the study is to determine the problems between the right to travel and the rights of local people. Data were collected through face-to-face interviews with local people and business representatives operating in Çeşme district. When the data obtained were interpreted with the maxqda data analysis method, it was determined that the indicators of excessive tourism were concentrated as economic, social and environmental factors. As a result, while the participants are in full agreement on the importance of tourism, they show resistance to extraordinary tourism movements and intensity. It has been determined that problems occur due to the imbalance of tourism movements by concentrating on certain geographical areas. Although the findings give an idea about the opposition to excessive tourism, it is understood that the expectations of the participants are to address and resolve the conflicts on excessive tourism by establishing more durable tourism systems economically, socially and environmentally.

Abstract
Turizmin gelişmesi doğal ve kültürel ortamlarda oluşmakla birlikte, bu ortamların aşırı turizm kullanımlarından olumsuz etkilenmesi sosyal ve çevreyle ilgili temellere baskılar uygulayarak sorunlar oluşmasına neden olmaktadır. Dünyada turizmin sürekli artma eğiliminde olması aşırı turizmden etkilenen varış yerlerinin yaşadığı sorunlar diğer turizm mahallerinin aynı sorunlarla karşılaşmaması için tedbirlerin alınmasını gerekli kılmaktadır. Turizm karşıtlığı son yıllarda dünyanın önemli turistik varış yerlerinde etkili olmaktadır. Aşırı turizm kavramı akademide ve medyada en çok tartışılan konular arasındadır. Turizmin yoğunlaştığı varış yerlerinde sosyal taşıma kapasitelerinin aşılması neticesinde alanların kullanımlarında çatışmalar oluşmaktadır. Yoğun turizm hareketleri geçmişten günümüze aşırı turizm kavramının gelişmesine neden olmaktadır. Bu çalışma tüm özellikleriyle bir bütün olarak Çeşme ilçesine odaklanarak taşıma kapasitesi, farklı turizm biçimlerinin algılanması, değerlendirilmesi ve yerleşik halkın yaşamı üzerindeki etkilerini incelemektedir. Çalışmanın amacı seyahat hakkı ile yerel halkın hakları arasındaki sorunların tespit edilmesidir. Çeşme ilçesinde faaliyet gösteren temsil gücüne sahip yerel halk ve işletme temsilcileri ile yüz yüze görüşülerek veriler toplanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler maxqda veri analizi yöntemi ile yorumlandığında aşırı turizm göstergelerinin ekonomik, sosyal ve çevresel faktörler olarak yoğunlaştığı belirlenmiştir. Sonuç olarak katılımcılar turizmin önemi konusunda tam bir fikir birliğinde iken sıra dışı turizm hareketleri ve yoğunluğunun oluşmadığı ifade edilmiştir. Turizm hareketlerinin coğrafi olarak belirli alanlarda yoğunlaşarak dengesizlik göstermesiyle sorunların oluşabileceği belirtilmiştir. Bulgular aşırı turizm karşıtlığı konusunda fikir vermekle birlikte, katılımcıların beklentilerinin ekonomik, sosyal ve çevresel olarak daha dayanıklı turizm sistemleri kurularak aşırı turizm konusundaki çatışmaların oluşmadan ele alınması ve çözülmesi yönündedir.
