THE EFFECT OF FATİH PROJECT ON TEACHERS’ SELF-EFFICACY BELIEFS ABOUT EDUCATIONAL INTERNET USAGE
This study aims to research the effect of teaching technologies in the scope of FATİH project on teachers’ self-efficacy beliefs about educational internet usage. The sample group of this study is composed of 128 teachers who are working in Kırşehir province in 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 academic years at secondary schools which are equipped with interactive whiteboards in the scope of FATİH project and who were distributed tablet computers. This research was performed by using general survey model which is one of the descriptive research methods. The research is a longtudinal one as it investigates the application of FATİH Project in Kırşehir and its effect during one-year of application process. The data of the research was obtained by using the “Educational Internet Usage Self-Efficacy Beliefs Scale”. Information about the demographic characteristics of the participants were obtained by the Survey Data Sheet. For the analysis of the data SPSS 22 software package was used. According to the findings of the research, it was found that in the self-efficacy beliefs of teachers in educational internet usage, there is a statistically significant difference in favor of the final application.
