Abstract


MILD MENTALLY DISABLED INDIVIDUALS READING COMPREHENSION AND INTERPRETATION LEVEL DETERMINATION INVESTIGATION OF THE TEXT POST DRAWN PICTURES
Gaining knowledge has a very important place in the reading and is a determining factor in the success of students. For the promotion of reading comprehension skills, educational support services provided to students with disabilities in mind the characteristics of children a proper comprehension strategies, methods and techniques to use in a positive way that will enhance students' comprehension skills. In this research, integrated students with mild intellectual disabilities to determine the students with reading comprehension levels evaluated the relation between the two levels. In this study, the level of reading comprehension and reading comprehension level determination;-read text after the taken of verbal answers, drawn after the text is showing a significant difference according to the pictures that were examined. Developed by researcher herself, the selected text prepared on the basis of the elements of the story and measurement tool that measures the level of comprehension, verbal and spoken directed to students as a answer has been received. The pictures were drawn after reading the text and photos have been examined by experts in the field.
